Bay Laurel has been used in alternative folk remedies for treating rashes caused by poison ivy, poinson oak, and stinging nettle.  In massage therapy, essential oils of Bay Laurel is used to treat arthitis, and in aromatherapy to treat earaches and high blood pressure.
